Didier Benoit purchased this Karmann in 1980 in Picardie not far from Amiens. At this time Didier was 24 year old. The guy who sold the car had dismanteled the car, so many parts were in boxes, when Didier bought it. He needed three years to restore the car, in times without any internet network. The car has still to be improved and completed by a few originals part as back lights, carburator etc. (CM)
